Intern, Impact Ambassador

About the role#

The Impact Ambassador role focuses on promoting awareness of the SickKids brand and fostering relationships with donors and corporate partners. This position involves a mix of office work and travel to corporate offices, retail locations, and community events to support fundraising efforts.

What you'll do#

• Deliver presentations to corporate partners to educate staff and motivate fundraising activity.
• Attend community events to provide on-site support, lead fundraising activations, and engage attendees.
• Deliver customized impact speeches to donor groups to build connections to the mission.
• Collect stories from partners and donors to support personalized communications and content.
• Provide general administrative and project support, including inventory management, data entry, and processing donor materials.
• Collaborate with the team to share campaign insights, partner feedback, and emerging trends.

What you'll need#

• A university degree or college diploma in Not-for-Profit Management, Business Administration, Communications, Public Health, Human Resources, or a relevant field.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships in professional settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for phone, video, and in-person interactions.
• Proven ability as a confident public speaker and storyteller.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• A valid G-class driver’s license and access to a vehicle, as frequent driving is required.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

• Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
• Term: Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 (August 31, 2026 to December 16, 2026).
• Work Modality: Hybrid, with in-office requirements.
• Status: Full-time (35-hour work week).
• Compensation: This is a paid position.
