Claims Intern

About the role#

The Claims Intern position offers an introduction to the insurance industry by providing professional experience within a branch office. This is a paid, part-time role designed for students to gain practical insight into how insurance claims are processed and managed.

What you'll do#

• Assist with the daily claims process.
• Handle claims under the guidance of the team.
• Support Claims Adjusters with their daily responsibilities.
• Maintain a consistent work schedule while coordinating with your academic commitments.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a full-time college sophomore or junior.
• Ability to work 25-28 hours per week during the term.
• Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Capacity to work effectively in an office or field environment.

• Term: Fall 2026 (August through December).
