Claims Intern

About the role#

The Claims Intern position provides an introduction to the insurance industry through a professional work experience. This is a paid, part-time internship designed for students to gain hands-on experience by supporting the claims department.

What you'll do#

• Assist with the claims process.
• Handle claims as assigned.
• Provide support to Claims Adjusters.
• Maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Collaborate effectively with team members in both office and field environments.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a full-time college sophomore or junior.
• Pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work 25-28 hours per week with weekday flexibility.

• Term: Fall 2026 (August through December).
