Supply Chain Internship/Co-op Fall 2026

About the role#

Shaw Industries is seeking a motivated student to join the team for a Fall 2026 internship or co-op. This role focuses on analyzing data, solving operational challenges, and collaborating across manufacturing, distribution, and logistics departments. You will work on projects that support the company's operational excellence goals and provide hands-on experience in a textile manufacturing environment.

What you'll do#

• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance flow, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and improve reporting accuracy.
• Conduct operational audits and time studies to establish baseline performance metrics.
• Update systems, documentation, and facility layouts to reflect current operations.
• Review inventory and material flow to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects with manufacturing, logistics, planning, and quality teams.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a full-time student, registered with your university’s co-op or career services office.
• Completion of at least three semesters of college coursework.
• A minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
