Intern, Global Learning & Development

About the role#

SGS & Co is seeking an intern to join our global learning organization. This role focuses on the development and translation of training materials to support our international teams. You will report to the Senior Project Manager for Learning and Development and collaborate with colleagues across sites in France, Mexico, Spain, Belgium, Hungary, Poland, Turkey, China, and India. This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.

What you'll do#

• Translate standardized work, standing operating procedures, and work instructions into target languages using your language skills and AI tools to ensure accuracy.
• Develop new training materials in English or target languages using established templates in partnership with subject matter experts.
• Collaborate with international teams to verify the accuracy and sensibility of translated content.
• Assist in the organization and refinement of the current digital library of training materials.

What you'll need#

• Current undergraduate or graduate student in any field of study, including Communications, English, Logistics, Human Resources, or Marketing.
• Fluency in English and at least one target language (including but not limited to Polish, Turkish, Spanish, German, Hungarian, Dutch, Mandarin, or Tamil).
• Proficiency in designing and editing documents using Word, Pages, Acrobat, or Illustrator.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Location & details#

• This position is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.
• Compensation is $15.00 to $20.00 USD per hour, determined by location, experience, and job-related factors.
