About the role#
This internship offers graduate students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare operations. You will support initiatives related to communication workflows, workforce planning, and quality improvement. This 10 to 15 week program involves working 20 to 30 hours per week in a remote capacity. You will contribute to real projects that aim to improve internal processes and the patient experience.
What you'll do#
- Support team members with project tasks and deliverables.
- Assist with administrative duties, including scheduling meetings and preparing reports.
- Conduct research and analysis on topics relevant to the department.
- Contribute to the development and execution of operational projects.
- Prepare and organize data for presentations.
- Communicate progress on assigned tasks and assist with daily operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate level program.
- Academic background in Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- Experience with communication workflows.
- Understanding of quality audits and compliance efforts.
- Ability to perform research and analysis.
- Proficiency in preparing and organizing data for presentations.
