Electrical Engineering/Power System Intern

About the role#

The Electrical Engineering/Power System Intern will support the Engineering and Innovation team on large-scale data center and renewable energy projects, including solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS). This role provides exposure to high-voltage infrastructure, power system design, and real-world engineering workflows.

What you'll do#

• Support the development of single-line diagrams (SLDs) and conceptual electrical designs.
• Assist in power system design and analysis for data centers and renewable energy projects.
• Improve coordination between the High-voltage (HV) engineering team and the data center electrical design team.
• Manage design documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality across deliverables.
• Assist the electrical team in refining engineering workflows and design processes.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering (junior, senior, or graduate level).
• Familiarity with data center electrical design concepts, including power distribution systems and redundancy architectures (N, N+1, 2N).
• Basic understanding of high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) systems.
• Proficiency with engineering tools such as AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams.
