About the role#
The Legal Support Intern provides administrative, organizational, and document management support to the in-house legal department. This role offers practical exposure to corporate legal operations, including contract administration, compliance tracking, and legal workflow coordination. You will work under the direction of attorneys and paralegals to assist with day-to-day legal department tasks while maintaining strict confidentiality.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the intake, organization, tracking, filing, and maintenance of contracts and legal documents.
- Support contract administration by monitoring internal routing and the execution of documents.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical legal records, files, and other department repositories.
- Provide general legal administrative support and assist in identifying process improvements.
- Assist with corporate recordkeeping, entity management, and compliance tracking.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of an undergraduate program in paralegal studies, legal studies, business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or comparable business productivity tools.
- Ability to maintain discretion and handle confidential information appropriately.
