Intern, Digital Design

About the role#

Road Scholar is seeking a Digital Design Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. This remote position involves working with a team of designers, writers, and marketing stakeholders to produce digital content, including email, blogs, web pages, and social media graphics. You will contribute to the organization's mission by supporting the creation of assets that inspire educational travel.

What you'll do#

• Select, edit, and upload photos for trip pages, instructors, and collections.
• Design templates for social media content and create assets for the social media team.
• Provide creative support to senior designers in the production of high-quality digital assets for web and blogs.
• Assist in the creation of landing pages using the organization's web CMS.
• Present your work to marketing leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university.
• Academic focus in Graphic Design, Media Studies, Art, Communications, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Practical experience with HTML/CSS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• An online or digital portfolio showcasing your work.

• Modality: Remote.
• Term: Fall 2026 (September 8, 2026 – December 18, 2026).
• Commitment: 20 hours per week.
• Compensation: Paid internship.
