Intern - National Golf Operations

About the role#

This internship provides exposure to a multi-course operation at Reynolds Lake Oconee. Interns are assigned to a home course and gain experience across various departments, including maintenance, retail, group golf, tournament direction, food and beverage, accounting, and human resources. The program includes seminars on leadership and career advancement with senior management, as well as support for PGA-PGM education through goal setting, study groups, and individual meetings with professionals.

What you'll do#

• Assist with outside operations and facilitate tournaments and corporate events.
• Manage par stock level reporting and visual merchandising.
• Conduct junior clinics.
• For advanced levels, manage supply levels, opening and closing procedures, log books, and rental club procedures.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in PGA Golf Management, Sports Management, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Real Estate.
• Strong interest in golf operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.
