Reply is seeking an iOS Developer Intern to join the User Channel team in Detroit for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position focused on designing and maintaining applications for iPhone and iPad platforms within an IoT-focused environment.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, and maintain iOS applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, QA, UI/UX designers, and product owners.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services into mobile applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to industry development practices.
- Support application releases and post-production activities.
What you'll need#
- 3+ years of experience in iOS development (including university coursework).
- Strong proficiency in Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of mobile application architecture patterns, specifically MVC and MVVM.
- Familiarity with Git version control and the App Store deployment process.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Firebase, analytics tools, or applications in the automotive and IoT sectors.
- Preferred majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
