Android Developer Intern

About the role#

Concept Reply is seeking an Android Developer Intern to join the User Channel team. This role focuses on building reliable, scalable Android applications within the IoT and cloud computing space. You will work in an agile environment to support the full development lifecycle of mobile solutions.

What you'll do#

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, QA, UI/UX designers, and product owners.
• Integrate APIs and third-party libraries into mobile applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while optimizing performance.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Support production releases and ongoing maintenance activities.

What you'll need#

• 3+ years of experience in Android development (including education).
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Knowledge of MVVM or other modern architecture patterns.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Understanding of the Android app lifecycle and performance optimization.
• Preferred: Experience with Jetpack Compose, CI/CD pipelines, Firebase, or analytics integrations.
• Preferred: Background in automotive, IoT, or connected services applications.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Cybersecurity.

• Commitment: Full-time, rolling term.
• Compensation: $27.50 - $35.00 per hour.
