Electrical System Integration Engineer (Fall 2026 Internship)

About the role#

As an Electrical System Integration Engineering Intern, you will join the System Integration Engineering team to support the development of automated flight systems. Reporting to the system integration engineering manager, you will work on high-priority projects that involve both laboratory testing and hands-on work with development aircraft.

What you'll do#

• Own a project through the full lifecycle of planning, assembly, and testing.
• Gain experience in system design and hands-on hardware integration.
• Contribute to the development and testing of automated flight systems.
• Collaborate with the System Integration Engineering team to design and deploy electrical hardware.

What you'll need#

• Junior or Senior standing in a 4-year electrical engineering degree program or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience reading electrical wiring schematics.
• Experience testing electronic systems for performance.
• Experience writing and running code.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience with electronic systems, system architecture design, building test stands, and strong data analysis skills.
