The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will gain professional experience by performing the duties of design, manufacturing, and project engineers. This role supports new product development and the sustaining production of existing designs within an aviation and aerospace component manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering analysis and apply problem-solving methods to support new product development and sustaining production.
- Assist the manufacturing team with the implementation and maintenance of a tooling organization system.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and tooling to resolve technical issues.
- Create designs and technical drawings based on engineering specifications or customer requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through work experience, personal projects, or hobbies.
- Experience working effectively within group environments.
- Must meet requirements for compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), requiring US citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status.
