Internship - Fall - Employee & Labor Relations Internship

About the role#

This internship offers the opportunity to work within the global Labour Relations team at our Longueuil facility. You will support and advise the employer and its representatives on matters related to labour relations across Quebec, Canada, and internationally. You will work alongside an experienced team dedicated to sharing their knowledge throughout your term.

What you'll do#

• Participate in the development and organization of an internal reference database regarding law applications and collective agreements.
• Assist Labour Relations managers with disciplinary processes following investigations.
• Gather and analyze data related to labour relations files and collective agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analyze jurisprudence for various files.
• Prepare content for and participate in monthly labour relations alignment meetings for HR teams.
• Update and structure the internal Labour Relations SharePoint site.
• Analyze and update company policies.
• Assist with the development and logistics of HR-IR training content.
• Attend representations before legal bodies and assist in file preparation as needed.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in a Canadian university pursuing a degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.
• Functional knowledge of English (for reading technical documentation and communicating with international colleagues).
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to work on-site.

Location & details#

• Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
• Modality: Exclusively on-site, Monday to Friday.
• Term: Fall 2026 (July to December 2026).
• Status: Full-time, paid internship.
• Note: The successful candidate must pass a criminal background check and obtain all necessary authorizations for the handling of controlled goods.
