About the role#
The Accessories Design team is seeking an intern for the Fall 2026 term. This role provides an opportunity to observe the development process for accessories, including scarves, hats, belts, small leather goods, and gloves. You will work closely with the Senior Designer to understand how design, product development, and merchandising teams collaborate to create an accessories assortment.
What you'll do#
- Track samples and maintain the organization of the material library.
- Assist with colorups, CAD work, and the creation of digital color palettes.
- Conduct design research to support the team.
- Create sample mockups, which may include occasional hand sewing.
- Take notes during design presentations and use Photoshop to edit market imagery.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program for academic credit.
- Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Art, or Business Administration.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop.
- A strong interest in accessories design.
- Ability to take detailed notes during presentations.
Location & details#
- This position is located in New York, NY.
- You must be able to commute to the office at least 2 days per week.
- This is an unpaid internship for academic credit.
