Facility Support Intern

About the role#

QuikTrip is seeking motivated students for a Facility Support Internship. This program offers hands-on technical experience, mentorship, and exposure to commercial HVAC-R systems and retail equipment operations. You will work alongside experienced technicians to support maintenance needs across retail store locations.

What you'll do#

• Participate in onboarding and basic technical training.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and various retail equipment under supervision.
• Join ride-along mentoring days with experienced technicians.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow all safety protocols.
• Report directly to an assigned QuikTrip Supervisor.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled full- or part-time in an accredited post-secondary HVAC program.
• Completion of at least 16 weeks (or first four classes) of the HVAC program.
• Possession of a Section 608 Technician Certification (EPA 608 License).
• Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle report (MVR).
• Reliable transportation and valid automobile liability insurance meeting state minimum requirements.

• Location: Norcross, Georgia.
• Term: Summer 2026 (90-day internship with potential extension).
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $21.28 per hour.
• Schedule: Part-time or full-time (up to 40 hours per week), coordinated around school commitments.
