About the role#
Quadric is seeking an AI Kernel Engineer Intern to join the software engineering team. This role focuses on optimizing the performance of neural network inference workloads for the company's general purpose neural processing unit (GPNPU) architecture. You will work alongside industry experts in AI and semiconductor technology, with opportunities for mentorship and project ownership.
What you'll do#
- Implement ONNX operator kernels that are not currently included in the SDK.
- Utilize Claude Code to optimize kernel performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an MS student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
- Experience with kernel implementation and optimization.
- Experience in performance profiling.
