    About the role#

    Milwaukee Magazine is offering a photography internship for the Fall 2026 semester. This role provides hands-on experience within a busy art department, focusing on both online and print publications.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct photography research and photo editing.
    • Shoot various projects for publication.
    • Assist on a variety of professional shoots.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Travel to site locations as required.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an academic program with the requirement to take this internship for college credit.
    • Proficiency in Photoshop and image conversion.
    • Access to a DSLR camera.
    • Ability to work 15-20 hours per week.
    • Strong self-motivation, the ability to take direction, and a willingness to accept constructive criticism.
    • Preferred majors include Photography, Journalism, Graphic Design, Art, Media Studies, or Communications.
    • Reliable transportation for travel to site locations.
