About the role#
Qode Social is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Intern to join the team in an on-site capacity. This role focuses on supporting client campaigns through search engine optimization, paid advertising, and data analysis. You will work from the office located at Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue in North York.
What you'll do#
- Develop and implement Google Search Engine Optimization strategies.
- Manage Google and Meta paid advertising campaigns.
- Execute display advertising tactics, including keyword research, ad creation, and campaign performance tracking.
- Monitor industry trends and benchmark performance against online competitors.
- Design and monitor solutions to acquire and retain users.
- Analyze website traffic and data metrics to improve campaign effectiveness through bid management and geo-targeting.
- Contribute to departmental processes regarding workflow, reporting, and team communication.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time student status at a Canadian public university or college, preferably pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Canadian citizenship, residency, or refugee status.
- Demonstrated experience or interest in Google Ads or Facebook Paid Ads.
- Understanding of website traffic and data metrics analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
