Digital Marketing Intern

About the role#

Qode Social is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Intern to join the team on-site in North York. This role focuses on executing digital advertising strategies and optimizing web performance for a variety of clients. The position is open on a rolling basis.

What you'll do#

• Develop and implement Google Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies.
• Manage Google Paid Ads and Meta Ads campaigns, including bid management and geo-targeting.
• Conduct keyword research and write metadata copy.
• Perform search data analysis to track campaign performance and audience engagement.
• Execute display advertising tactics, including ad creation and performance monitoring.
• Evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assist with website content planning and user interface usability studies.
• Monitor industry trends and benchmark performance against competitors.
• Contribute to departmental procedures and reporting workflows.

What you'll need#

• Current full-time student status at a Canadian public university or college.
• Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or refugee status.
• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in Google Ads, Facebook Paid Ads, and Google Analytics.
• Understanding of website traffic and data metrics analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work on-site at the office near Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue.
