R&D Business Intern - Fall 2026

About the role#

The R&D Department is seeking interns for the Fall 2026 term to support initiatives in renewable energy, including wind, solar, energy storage, sustainability, and carbon capture. This role involves applying business and social science principles to help advance decarbonization technologies.

What you'll do#

• Plan and control all activities to maintain an accident-free workplace.
• Support project planning, stakeholder analysis, policy research, and the development of professional reports.
• Gather, correlate, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data using established procedures.
• Evaluate business, regulatory, legislative, and market frameworks that impact renewable energy initiatives.
• Coordinate research results and prepare summaries of value for management.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and suggest new methods.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, Public Health, or a related social science discipline.
• Minimum 3.00 GPA, with 3.50 preferred.
• Ability to work part-time during the semester and full-time during the summer.
