About the role#
Porsche Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Controlling Intern to support the financial analyst team at the Atlanta, Georgia headquarters. This position focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. The role requires a six-month commitment, working 40 hours per week, from August 2026 through March 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the monthly close process, including the preparation of journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Support Preview forecasting and implementation.
- Create and maintain monthly analysis reports for assigned areas.
- Track assigned accruals during the month end close.
- Collaborate with department managers and teams to provide financial support and analysis.
- Contribute to ad hoc financial projects and learn to utilize internal financial software.
- Process manual Manufacturer Statements of Origin (MSOs) for Porsche dealers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or an equivalent field.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting and finance principles.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Modality: On-site, three days per week (must include Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
- Term: Summer 2026 through Winter 2027.
- Compensation: $18 to $20 per hour.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift 15 pounds and work in an open office environment.
