The Supply Chain Intern (Packaging Planner) is responsible for the execution of packaging orders within the supply chain. This role involves demand forecasting, material ordering, and engagement with the supply base. You will work closely with internal and external partners to solve problems and improve processes while gaining exposure to supply chain concepts.
What you'll do#
- Manage the supply chain for key packaging items from the supplier to the customer.
- Utilize SAP to run Material Requirements Planning to ensure material availability for customer demand and maintain plans for every part.
- Lead continuous improvement projects, including packaging inventory and cost optimization efforts.
- Create packaging standards and guidelines to reduce shipping damage and streamline the receiving process.
- Support critical business metrics such as customer and supplier fill rates.
- Manage sales forecasts for each SKU and collaborate with the Supply Chain & Logistics team on material planning.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Packaging, or a related Business field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Compensation: This is a paid position.
- Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is available based on business need; however, applicants must be currently authorized to work on a full-time basis in the United States.
