Summer Student Opportunities with OSCO Concrete

About the role#

OSCO Concrete is offering summer work terms for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the concrete manufacturing and aggregate industry. These full-time, paid positions provide exposure to technical, operational, and business functions within a safety-conscious environment.

What you'll do#

Depending on your field of study, you will contribute to various aspects of the business:

• Engineering & Technology: Perform quality control, testing, and data analysis. Support production, plant operations, process improvement, and equipment troubleshooting. Assist with project coordination and technical documentation.
• Heavy Duty Truck Technician: Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on the fleet and mobile equipment. Assist with repairs and troubleshooting of heavy-duty trucks.
• Business & Administration: Support day-to-day operations through reporting, data entry, and cost tracking. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative HR processes. Provide coordination and organizational support across concrete and aggregate operations.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related engineering technology programs.
• Enrollment in Heavy Duty Truck Technician programs.
• Enrollment in Business Administration or related business programs.
• A strong willingness to learn and the ability to adapt to new tasks.
• A safety-conscious attitude is required for all roles.
