Human Resources Student

About the role#

Petro Service Limited is seeking a Human Resources Student for the Fall 2026 term in Saint John, New Brunswick. This position is open to both Co-op and non-Co-op students and provides exposure to key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and daily operations. You will work closely with the HR team to support employees and contribute to initiatives that shape the workplace culture.

What you'll do#

• Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities to facilitate a smooth start for new team members.
• Collaborate directly with the HR Generalist and HR Director to support daily HR operations.
• Act as a resource for employees by answering HR-related questions and providing guidance.
• Contribute to various HR projects and initiatives focused on people and culture.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• A proactive, self-starting approach to tasks.
• Curiosity paired with solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Previous relevant experience is considered an asset.
