The LLM Research Intern will focus on the application of physics and mathematics-enabled AI platforms to analyze atomistic systems. This role is based in Gresham, Oregon, for the Summer 2026 term and requires full-time, on-site participation.
What you'll do#
- Conduct a pre-study on physics and mathematics-enabled AI platforms for data analysis in atomistic simulations.
- Develop training materials and a white paper regarding the use and tradeoffs of these AI platforms.
- Perform atomistic simulations for NVM candidate devices.
- Execute electrical characterization of devices.
- Support layout work for next-generation devices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Chemical Engineering at the time of the internship.
- Ability to perform the technical tasks listed above, including AI platform pre-study, device characterization, and simulation work.
