About the role#
This clinical internship offers a foundation in social work practices through hands-on experience in community behavioral health. Interns participate in client support, advocacy, and case management while working under supervision to develop clinical skills and professional competencies.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct services to clients, including individual, group, or family sessions.
- Advocate for client needs and recommend appropriate clinical or support services.
- Collaborate with professionals, families, and external agencies to coordinate care.
- Complete all required documentation within established timeframes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including a drug screen, physical exam, and tuberculosis test.
- Successful completion of all pre-employment background checks.

- Locations: Wauseon, Lorain, Sandusky, New Philadelphia, Cleveland, Defiance, Canton, Fairlawn, Bryan, and Napoleon, Ohio.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Rolling.
- Compensation: Paid at $14.00 per hour (unpaid internships may be offered based on specific circumstances).
