As a Performance Engineer Intern, you will join the team responsible for the maintenance, development, and execution of Desktop Gaming Performance testing in Linux and Windows environments for high-performance GPUs. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Write and maintain containerized GPU accelerated workloads for the financial services industry, covering deep learning training, inference, portfolio optimization, and backtesting.
- Run, validate, and analyze benchmarking models at scale on HPC clusters.
- Visualize performance data by building charts and dashboards using internal schemas and tooling.
- Collaborate on financial AI models to build reference models for NVIDIA.
- Participate in the maintenance, development, and execution of Desktop Gaming Performance testing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors program in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Active experience with Python.
- Working comfort in a Linux command-line environment with version control.
- Foundational understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, including training, evaluation, and inference.
- A desire to improve code quality by applying computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
