About the role#
Northrop Grumman is seeking an intern for the Vehicle Engineering Directorate as part of the Aeronautics Systems Intern Program. This position offers the opportunity to develop technical competencies across various vehicle engineering specializations in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operate related equipment and conduct tests, reporting data in a prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks, making adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
- Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited degree program, with a graduation date after August 2027.
- Major in a STEM field, including Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Computer, Chemical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
- An overall cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher is preferred.
