Junior Credit Analyst, Mortgage Valuations

About the role#

Nesto is seeking a Junior Credit Analyst to join the commercial mortgage team for a full-time term from September 2026 to December 2026. This role offers the opportunity to work with asset management technology and gain experience in commercial mortgage valuations, risk rating, and portfolio valuation.

What you'll do#

• Conduct risk analysis of fixed income products secured by commercial real estate debt.
• Assist with the collection and filing of financial information for annual client reviews.
• Maintain industry research and sector databases to ensure current information.
• Provide research and formatting support for industry reports and team presentations.
• Support the team on special projects and department-wide initiatives.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary program in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize complex data.
• Proficiency in building organized spreadsheets in Excel.
• Ability to effectively communicate the results and logic behind your work.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
