The Integrated Services Intern role provides hands-on experience within a comprehensive program covering foster care, independent living, and behavioral health services. Interns work across home, community, and clinical settings to support program functions and provide an additional layer of service to children, families, and young adults. This is a full-time, paid position with rolling enrollment.
What you'll do#
- Serve as a support system to the Program Director and direct service staff.
- Complete administrative tasks and assist with program functions.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all customer and client records.
- Enter accurate information into applicable databases regarding intakes, respites, moves, home visits, and discharges.
- Supervise client activities as required.
- Develop a learning contract that aligns educational requirements with position responsibilities.
- Create an overarching internship project that benefits both the intern and the organization.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an educational program with a course credit requirement or opportunity.
- Pursuing a degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, Criminal Justice, Public Health, or Nursing.
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- High school education (degree preferred).
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance (100/300/100).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Successful completion of all required criminal background checks.
