CBH - Wraparound Intern

About the role#

The Community Behavioral Health (CBH) Wraparound Intern supports the Community Behavioral Health Program, which provides therapeutic support to children and their families within their home, school, and community environments. This role serves as a liaison to the CBH team and involves active participation in clinical operations, documentation, and program development.

What you'll do#

• Perform data entry and ensure all documentation is submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with clinical intakes to ensure medical necessity is met and support the treatment planning process from intake through discharge.
• Learn to conduct safety planning and execute therapeutic interventions using trauma-informed methods.
• Participate in clinical and billing supervision, as well as team meetings and consultations with school personnel and parents.
• Collaborate on the growth of the clinical program through community outreach.
• Develop a learning contract that aligns educational requirements with position responsibilities.
• Create an overarching internship project that benefits both the intern and the organization.

What you'll need#

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services-related field (such as Psychology, Public Health, Nursing, Sociology, or Human Resources).
• Current enrollment in a Mental Health graduate program.
• A valid driver’s license and auto insurance (100/300/100).
• Excellent organizational and technological skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and database software.
• Ability to adhere to both scheduled and unplanned deadlines.
• Successful completion of all required criminal background checks.
