Student Family Liaison

About the role#

The Student Family Liaison at Great Oaks Academy supports the school community by fostering strong connections between students, families, and staff. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Warren, Michigan, focused on maintaining a productive learning environment for students in grades K-8.

What you'll do#

• Actively promote student, parent, and community involvement within the school.
• Maintain a safe and orderly environment to ensure each student has the best opportunity to learn.
• Collaborate with administration and teaching staff to implement and reinforce school-wide classroom management techniques and procedures.

What you'll need#

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in the child behavior or social work field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with parents, faculty, and students.
• Preferred majors include Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, Public Health, Political Science, Communications, Criminal Justice, or Nursing.
