About the role#
N & M Transfer Co., Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Intern for a full-time position based at our corporate office in Neenah, Wisconsin. This internship runs from June 2026 through December 2026 and offers exposure to various HR functions, including talent acquisition, HRIS projects, employee relations, and benefits administration.
What you'll do#
- Provide support to the HR team across a full spectrum of departmental activities.
- Assist with HR Assistant duties, including maintaining records for certificates, training, applications, timesheets, and disciplinary documentation.
- Prepare new hire orientation packets.
- Process employee terminations, including updating personnel files, generating internal and external communications, and performing system updates.
- Participate in full-cycle talent acquisition and onboarding processes alongside recruiters.
- Support HRIS projects, including the production of training materials and assisting with employee training on system usage.
- Aid the Benefits Coordinator with benefits administration and open enrollment tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work independently when required.
- A strong desire to learn and a sense of curiosity regarding various HR disciplines.
