As a Helpdesk Intern at myDNA, you will serve as the first point of contact for technical support within our IT Systems department. This role provides hands-on experience in a professional IT environment, where you will assist with daily technical operations and user support under the guidance of the IT Systems Manager.
What you'll do#
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal support requests.
- Triage and prioritize incoming tickets, resolving entry-level issues and escalating complex problems to senior staff.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripheral hardware.
- Install, update, and troubleshoot software and basic hardware components.
- Manage user account setup and access requests under supervision.
- Document technical fixes and maintain the internal knowledge base.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
- Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.
- Familiarity with cloud productivity suites such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
- CompTIA A+ certification or similar.

- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Modality: On-site (requires at least 3 days per week in the office).
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Status: Part-time, paid internship.
