About the role#
Metergy Solutions is seeking a Meter Engineering Co-op for a four-month summer term in 2026. This role focuses on process optimization, technical documentation, and the development of learning management systems to support submetering solutions. The position is full-time and based on-site in Toronto.
What you'll do#
- Analyze, design, and optimize processes for the installation, maintenance, and operation of submetering systems.
- Create engineered models using field and service provider data, and produce client-facing reports based on these calculations.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and maintenance procedures.
- Design and implement a learning management system (LMS) to train employees and clients, including the creation of video tutorials and e-learning modules.
- Research current technologies, trends, and best practices in energy management to support product innovation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Proven experience in process engineering, technical writing, project management, and LMS development.
- Proficiency with project management software such as JIRA and various technical writing tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work both independently and within a team.
- A high degree of attention to detail, curiosity, and adaptability when working with complex technical information.
