About the role#
Metergy Solutions is seeking a CAD Draftsman Co-op to join the team in Toronto. This is a full-time, paid position for students available for an 8 or 12-month term. The role requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Perform drafting for metering layouts and detailing across electrical, water, wastewater, thermal, and gas projects.
- Interpret architectural and structural building designs.
- Prepare electrical design drawings for various projects.
- Create and maintain CAD standard details.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or Environmental Engineering programs.
- High school diploma.
- Between 0 and 3 years of drafting experience using the latest version of AutoCAD.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A self-motivated attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team and learn new skills.
