About the role#
This is a PRN Pharmacy Student II position at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. The role supports pharmacists in the preparation, distribution, and inventory control of medications to provide patient-focused pharmacy services. You will work on-site in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution.
- Help train pharmacy technicians and act as a resource for entry-level staff.
- Conduct floor stock inspections.
- Participate in improving pharmacy workflow.
- Perform duties consistent with the mission, values, and service standards of the organization.
- Work typical shifts that include one evening per week and at least one weekend per month.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the second year of an accredited PharmD program.
- Valid Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern License.
- Registration with the state Board of Pharmacy in good standing.
- Completion of all requirements for a P2 student.
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
