Junior Internal Auditor (Co-op Fall 2026)

About the role#

Magellan Aerospace is seeking a Junior Internal Auditor for a full-time co-op position during the Fall 2026 term, running from September to December. This role supports the internal audit team by executing financial and compliance audits in accordance with professional standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do#

• Develop audit plans, programs, and methodologies, including checklists and questionnaires.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and use of auditing tools and databases.
• Perform detailed audit procedures such as conducting interviews, observing operations, reviewing transactions, and analyzing reports.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and document audit procedures in working papers.
• Collaborate with management to develop recommendations for corrective actions and process improvements.
• Prepare written audit reports and assist with special projects or presentations as assigned.
• Provide assistance to external auditors when requested.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a University or College degree program in Accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting and finance principles, as well as audit-related practices, processes, and techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining impartiality.
• Previous co-op experience in accounting or finance is preferred.

• Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
