About the role#
The Compliance and Ethics Intern will support the regulatory and internal policy functions of Louisiana Blue during the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, part-time position requiring 20-25 hours per week. While the role is remote, the ability to commute to the Baton Rouge, Louisiana office is required.
What you'll do#
- Assist with assigned portions of compliance review programs to assess adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Support compliance reviews across the organization by documenting findings and preparing reports to strengthen regulatory alignment.
- Collaborate with compliance consultants and program managers on ongoing projects.
- Work directly with the Director to identify potential department enhancements and efficiency opportunities.
- Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy when analyzing and documenting data.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Political Science, Economics, Accounting, Management, Law, or Information Systems.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours in an undergraduate program.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher (3.0+ preferred).
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Coursework in Internal Audit is a plus. Second-year law students are preferred.
