About the role#

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a Pharmacy Student for an on-site, full-time, paid internship in North Vancouver. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations through automation, inventory management, and prescription preparation.

What you'll do#

• Generate automation reports and process medication packaging using Kroll pharmacy management software and automation machinery.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified minimum stock levels and assist with inventory counts and drug recalls.
• Follow established workflows to prepare, label, and ship medication orders, including blister packs and mixtures.
• Troubleshoot automation workflow issues to ensure orders are prepared and shipped on schedule.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to support nursing home orders and general pharmacy operations.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary program related to Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Public Health.
• Previous experience with Kroll software and Long Term Care pharmacy environments.
• Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a solid work ethic.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and remain adaptable to support different departments.
• Physical ability to maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods.
• Candidates 18 years or older must complete a criminal background check.

• Pay: $20.90 - $28.60 per hour.
