About the role#

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a Pharmacy Student for a full-time, on-site position in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. This role involves utilizing automated pharmacy systems to support medication preparation and inventory management within a retail pharmacy setting.

What you'll do#

• Generate automation reports and manage workflow targets using Kroll pharmacy management software.
• Package medications into unit dose pouches and prepare medication orders following a step-by-step workflow.
• Perform machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and investigate orders to ensure timely shipping.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified levels, place orders for supplies, and assist with inventory counts.
• Label medications, over-the-counter products, and prepare blister packs and mixtures.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary program related to Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Health Administration.
• Previous experience with Kroll software and Long Term Care pharmacy operations.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and work effectively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain active for extended periods.

• Work Modality: On-site.
• Employment Type: Full-time, paid position.
• Pay Range: $20.90 - $28.60 per hour.
• Note: Candidates aged 18 or older are required to complete a criminal background check.
