Analyst, Risk Advisory Co-op Student

About the role#

The Risk Advisory group delivers innovative solutions across the Loblaw portfolio, focusing on governance, operations, and business results. As a Co-op Analyst, you will gain exposure to diverse service lines, execute cross-functional projects, and assist in preparing deliverables for senior stakeholders. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the company's control environment and risk management strategies.

What you'll do#

• Execute a portfolio of Risk Advisory projects by working with integrated teams to analyze and communicate business issues.
• Gain understanding of the operational, technology, and financial processes and controls that support the organization.
• Create visual presentations that simplify complex information, highlighting risks, current landscapes, and recommendations.
• Research emerging issues impacting the business and propose creative ways to leverage this information.
• Identify and suggest areas where data and process-driven insights can add value or mitigate risk.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect business areas, risks, and control environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self-starter mindset with excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
• Enthusiastic attitude toward learning and a strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Location: 1 President’s Choice Circle, Brampton, ON.
• Term: Fall 2026 (September 8, 2026 – December 18, 2026).
• Work Modality: Hybrid (4 days in-office per week).
• Employment Type: Full-time paid co-op.
