IT Internship (Part Time, Fall 2026 & Beyond)

About the role#

Libbey is offering a part-time IT Internship for students looking to apply their educational background to real-world IT applications. This role serves as a primary contact point for addressing user questions, technical issues, and service requests across company locations. Interns will gain experience in incident management, hardware installation, and software configuration while working on-site at the Toledo office.

What you'll do#

• Manage help desk calls and resolve customer IT needs professionally.
• Provide first-level support for incident resolution by utilizing and updating the internal knowledge base with new diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor open incidents and requests, ensuring they are tracked until resolution and providing status updates to users.
• Perform hardware and software support, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and monitors.
• Collaborate with IT personnel to solve technical issues and assist with assigned special projects.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a collegiate degree program (Associate or Bachelor's) with a focus on fields such as Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or Cybersecurity.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Windows and the Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

• Modality: On-site, up to 20 hours per week.
