This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in HR operations, project coordination, and process improvement. You will work directly with the HR Project Manager and the wider project team to support the implementation of HR and payroll initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Track project deliverables, timelines, and tasks to ensure successful implementation of HR projects.
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings.
- Maintain organized project documentation and records for compliance and reference.
- Draft project communications, memos, and updates for stakeholders.
- Field HR and project-related questions, forward them to the appropriate contacts, and track responses for timely follow-up.
- Create documentation and reference guides for payroll, including system access requirements for new hires.
- Support testing and rollout activities by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Collect and analyze project-related data to support reporting.
- Contribute recommendations to enhance project efficiency and communication.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from a post-secondary work-integrated learning program in Human Resources, Project Management, Business, Accounting, or Finance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- A problem-solving mindset and an interest in HR, payroll, and project management.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $19.00 per hour.
