Teller Co-Op

About the role#

The Teller Co-Op position involves performing essential transactional duties to support member financial needs. This role focuses on providing accurate, friendly, and efficient service while representing the credit union professionally.

What you'll do#

• Receive and pay out funds while maintaining high accuracy.
• Provide courteous and expedient teller services to members.
• Process mail deposits and withdrawals.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services to members.
• Assist in balancing the ATM as needed.
• Train for additional branch responsibilities, such as opening and closing duties, check verification, and transaction overrides.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in high school or an equivalent program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Proficiency in or the ability to quickly learn required computer programs and systems.
• Previous work experience in cash handling or customer service is preferred.
