Teller Co-Op

About the role#

The Teller Co-Op position involves providing member services through accurate cash handling and transactional support. This role focuses on maintaining high standards of service while assisting members with their financial needs and promoting credit union products.

What you'll do#

• Perform transactional duties including receiving and paying out funds with high accuracy.
• Provide friendly and efficient teller services to members.
• Process mail deposits and withdrawals.
• Cross-sell credit union services to members.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer daily.
• Potentially train for open and closing duties, ATM balancing, and check verification.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in high school or an equivalent program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Proficiency or the ability to gain proficiency in required branch systems and software.
• Previous experience in cash handling or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to develop a thorough understanding of credit union policies and applicable regulations.

Location & details#

• Location: Grafton, Wisconsin.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: 19 hours per week, including varying weekday shifts and every Saturday.
• This is a paid, part-time position.
