About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Global Mergers & Acquisitions team at Kroll. You will work alongside senior management to support middle-market companies through sellside, buyside, and capital raising transactions. This role involves exposure to both healthy and distressed business situations.
What you'll do#
- Support senior management teams and engage with clients, board members, and stakeholders during all phases of transaction advisory and execution.
- Assist with financial modeling and analytics for M&A, restructuring, and special situations.
- Draft situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, management presentations, and term sheets.
- Conduct company, industry, market, and competitor research and due diligence.
- Contribute to the development of proposals and advice for clients.
- Manage data rooms and coordinate management meetings to maintain communication between deal teams and potential buyers or sellers.
- Ensure the quality of all deliverables through high attention to detail.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field with at least four junior or senior level courses in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- A major GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent quantitative, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple engagements, and work effectively with senior professionals.
- Capability to obtain FINRA Series 79, 63, and 7 certifications.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
