About the role#
The Corporate Development team identifies, assesses, and executes business-enhancing corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. This internship provides support for corporate development processes, including financial modeling, due diligence, and the preparation of presentation materials.
What you'll do#
- Assist with reviews and updates of the Corporate Model, including liquidity forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Collect technical, financial, and market data for due diligence opportunities.
- Compile and analyze data from financial filings, technical studies, and industry reports.
- Develop summary materials and presentations, such as business proposals for Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
- Contribute to special projects as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university degree program in Engineering, Geology, Finance, or Accounting.
- Familiarity with the mining industry and capital markets.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently with limited supervision, and maintain strong attention to detail.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (downtown, near Union Station).
- Term: Winter 2027 (4-month contract starting January 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $44,226.00 to $60,060.00 CAD base salary, plus 4% vacation pay.
